ANC's partnership with West Virginia University (WVU) involved design, product selection and integration of the university's investment in large-scale LED video displays to enhance the game-day and entertainment atmosphere for students and fans alike.

The WVU Coliseum, which hosts basketball, volleyball and various entertainment events, features state-of-the-art digital multimedia technologies that create a cohesive arena presentation and fan experience, including nearly 2,500 square feet of 6mm LED across a custom, multi-faceted center-hung scoreboard, in-bowl fascia ribbons, and the venue’s sound and lighting systems. Overall, the new center-hung in the Coliseum – which ANC custom designed in collaboration with WVU – adds nearly 2.75x more LED than the previous fixture, with the main video screen being almost double in size.

Over at the Milan Puskar Stadium, home of Mountaineer football, a substantially larger 44’H x 134’ W south end zone 16mm Surface Mount (SMD) LED videoboard was designed and installed – besting the previous board’s footprint by 20-feet in height and 50-feet in length – accompanying upgraded east and west ribbon displays.

Longer term, ANC operates and services the WVU digital signage networks, and displays content within both venues will seamless synchronization and operation by ANC’s award-winning vSOFT™ operating system.
