Position Overview
The Director of Product Solutions is an industry expert responsible for translating ANC product vision into prototypes and products
that continually meet pre-determined specific requirements. This highly technical role requires experienced leadership, innovative
solutions, and the ability to design effective quality-check procedures. The role will serve as a trusted advisor to all projects, and
serve as a bridge across ANC divisions, partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to realize rapid deployment. The
Director must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

This is a full-time position reporting to the SVP of Operations. The position will be based in our Purchase, NY, office. Remote/flexible applicants will be considered. Considerable domestic travel is required.

The right candidate will be willing and able to…

  • Analyze, diagnose, assess and recommend viable solutions to complex issues with LED products using proven industry knowledge and leadership.
  • Develop operational processes and productivity improvement tools that improve efficiency, encourage continuous performance improvements, and raise customer satisfaction.
  • Advise Estimation on technical specifications and pricing of proposed projects ensuring continued improvement on bid packages.
  • Advise ANC engineering and fabrication for products in research and development (i.e., Versa, Courtside, Stanchions, Wayfinding) to ensure proven solutions.
  • Collaborate with current LED vendors to develop standardized specifications, negotiate pricing strategies, and initiate best practices including quality control and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in factory discussions and with all stakeholders within the company for custom or special projects (i.e., transparent products for WFC; LCDs for DC Metro and Moynihan projects).
  • Analyze and resolve quality related issues (i.e., Citrus Bowl, Aventura, WFC, etc). Document production issues using approved procedures and processes.
  • Identify complimentary 3rd party products/solutions for integration with existing & future company products for potential company resale as an ANC-provided solution.
  • Create quality management system policies and procedures. Assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate. Lead continual improvement.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of market products, services, and emerging trends in the industry.
  • Develop and deliver solution reports to all appropriate company stakeholders. Provide information to the management team on Improvement priorities and risks, associated costs, performance, and major issues.
  • Develop and implement complete go-to-market strategy for all approved solutions, including but not exclusive to post-sale support mechanisms and processes.
  • Monitor, oversee, and implement any necessary corrective/improvement measures for solution support mechanisms instituted in go-to-market strategy.
  • Ensure solution revenues meet or exceed forecasts. Develop and maintain a tracking process to include revenue, costs, and production milestones.
  • Work with ANC personnel as well as industry providers to identify, prioritize, and build business cases for new product and/or feature development.
  • Understand the industry landscape and collect, analyze, and evaluate potential strategic partners, customer data, and competitive information in order to determine potential solution development.
  • Continually monitor market demands & feedback relative to solutions in development.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of launched solutions to track new processes, improvement opportunities, & increased ROI.

The right candidate has

  • Proven success determining technical needs of clients and communicating requirements within internal teams accordingly.
  • Significant experience identifying and assessing potential risk and implementing of risk management practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred; however, associate degree or certifications in related field meets qualifications.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to interact confidently, professionally with all departments, including senior management.
  • Position requires strong communication, leadership, adaptability, reporting, and decision-making skills.
